It was our wedding anniversary and the Food was Tasty and delicious like the Eye fillet espetada,Baramundi espetada was just amazing and not forgetting the Portugese custard tart for dessert was to die for. I would like to Thank Luis and Mary for the friendly service and delicious Portugese food their restaurant deserve a 5 star rating and we will be coming back for more.

It was our first time for dinner last night and we had the lamb & eye fillet espetada -it was delicious! My 3 y.o. daughter loved the prawns & scallops skewers, she had it all by herself. Food is amazing! Well recommended. Thanks to Luisa who was especially attentive and very welcoming. We will definitely be back.

We have been to this restaurant many times and each time we have gone with friends and family, everyone has had an amazing meal. The food is incredibly good and Luis, Maria and staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable and nothing is ever a problem. We love this place and have kept recommending it to everyone we know - you won't be disappointed!

Having been a big fan of the wonderful cuisine that Luis turned out of his Cape Town kitchen, I have long awaited the opportunity to be able to enjoy the experience in Melbourne. The tender, beautifully seasoned calamari and espetada’s dripping in flavour are amongst my favourite dishes. Aside from the food, eating at Madeira can be considered a most enjoyable experience owing to the hospitality of Luis and Maria, who do everything to make you feel at home.

I would just like to comment on the Portuguese custard tarts. The tarts were fantastic, infact excellent. Everything was also very tasty
